We have arrived to the newest part of our series, and
the lady is Galiya Karjakina from Moscow. Galiya is the wife of the world
famous chess player Sergey Karjakin, managing his appearances and tournaments
while being a perfect wife and insists on that once in a life everyone must
visit her city. When I first texted Galiya she responded really quickly and
nicely to all my questions, and if everything goes well, I might be able to
meet her in Moscow soon!
So, here are the questions…
How is your average
day? What do you do?
I work in the chess organization, which organizes chess events. And I'm a
wife of international chess grand master Sergey Karjakin.
How do you decide what
to wear for an occasion? Do you prefer sporty or girly clothes?
It depends on the mood and the priority of the event. In the gym enough to wear
simple clothes for sport, but, for example, the opening ceremony of a
prestigious chess tournament, of course, I have to wear a beautiful fashion
dress. But I am feeling myself equally comfort and chic dress and
sportswear.
Do you like shopping? In your opinion for what girls
should pay attention for?
Oh, I love shopping very much! Once, I spent almost a week in the shops of
London! Although, London is not the most popular city for shopping. In my dress
it's difficult to identify something. The main thing in dress selection is
choice right size! For example, in shopping malls in Beijing, it was hard to
pick up something for myself, because the Chinese have a slightly different
body type and other dress size.
Do you have a favorite
style icon?
I do not follow fashion shows, what would select someone special.
Do you have any special
issue that you stand up for?
I'm trying to make chess and everything connected with them more
interesting for people. I run my blog, as a wife of famous chess player, I
write it about events I attend, or that could be interesting for this kind of
sports spectators. I believe that social networking is very helpful in this.
What do you think what
is important a girl to know (like cooking, housekeeping)? What is your favorite
meal?
The modern girl should be able to all! And watch out for the house and take
business solutions! Everybody makes their own choice. Now, in our society is
very fashionable to be a woman who manages everything. If we talk about
me, I love to learn something new, I like different experiments very much! Of
course, when we are at home I like to cook a delicious dinner for our family,
but I think that men prepare delicious better than women, because most chefs are
men.
Do you like living in
Moscow? Which are the must-see things there?
I love Moscow! I think that Moscow is one of the cities in which
everyone should visit! Moscow has a rich and interesting history. Everyone
knows attractions such as the Red Square, the Bolshoi Theatre! Moscow is very
beautiful in the winter, during the Christmas holidays! In the summer, it
is also very beautiful! Moscow is in flower gardens! If you have the
opportunity, you have to go to Moscow!
If you would have three
wishes to be come true, what would they be?
Only 3 wishes!?:) I have a good imagination and I always doing something,
it is difficult to put my desires just in 3 offers;) Of course, I want peace in
the world, and I want that children were not ill, and all adults have the
opportunity to realize their talent.
